Ariadna is a born and raised Boricua, and has been living in the States after being displaced by Hurricane María in 2017. Growing up she attended a myriad of art classes, leading up to her studying fine arts at the University of Puerto Rico. Now in Philadelphia, Ari works at a local non-profit art school, where she takes art workshops to broaden her skills. She combines photography, printmaking, drawings and prose to express topics like diáspora, the heaviness of existence, identiy, as well as the whimsical strangeness that surrounds her.
